Just a small room in the countryside.

Hopefully the plans include an exhaust fan for that luxurious western style bathroom.Mèo Đen wrote:Those paranoid about being watched!gavinmac wrote:Does NKOTB have something against windows? Who plans a two room extension to a house with no windows?

Who plans a two room extension to a house with no windows?
Apparently NKOTB does,
Perhaps we should change the question to:
Apart from NKOTB, Who else plans a two room extension to a house with no windows?
I refuse to go out with nothing more than a whimper followed by a small farting sound and a shit stain on my bed sheets..
Just thought I'd share that with you.

Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

It was part of the plans. How else does one get the moisture out? But the walk through had no opening in the bathroom for an exhaust fan.salvajeuno wrote:Hopefully the plans include an exhaust fan for that luxurious western style bathroom.
And huge windows covering two walls, plus wrap around windows covering the entire structure? For what? So that the 6 kids (soon to be 10) and 5 adults (soon to be) 6 or sometimes 10 can all see the foreigner changing outfits?
And yes, I do value some privacy. Unable to do the the wrap the towel and change everything around it.
Don't worry, be happy.

Some of them work in city. In big hotels. Repeated assured that they are very familiar with western hotel rooms and would be done just like those. Repeated assured that they knew the requirements and were meeting them.Kachang wrote:NKOTB, are you saying that you are out of the country while this room you paid for is being constructed and there's no one to overview the process besides some in laws you met a few times and your fiancee receiving an occasional video from her sister? In Cambodia, if you build anything, you have to be on top of every brick they put in a wall, or have someone very trustworthy do it for you. Or you might end up with bamboo in your concrete instead of steel bars.
Actually the builder was impressive. Plum lines and string to make everything straight. Proper concrete molds for the pouring, possibly rebar. Then wire mesh for further support.
Don't worry, be happy.

Curtains.
The problem with the world is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
This has already been explained to you but I'll try again; You view this room as something you need for the wedding, because you're paying for it. They view it as an extension to their house, because it is. They built the extension they wanted for their house, which unsurprisingly included windows.newkidontheblock wrote:And huge windows covering two walls, plus wrap around windows covering the entire structure? If only there was some way to block sight through windows. Somebody should make a Kickstarter or something.

let the boy have his fantasy.
Reality will soon squat on his face.
on a side note, perhaps they should turn away people who can't handle outhouse toilets and heat.
this once again proves my assertion that any idiot can make money.
