What is the best way to meet single women in Cambodia looking for marriage?
There's a lady in my village el desperado for a foreigner husband. She's even paid to have the local witchdoctor to make a spell for her.
Early 30's, petit, government job, bit of a wonky leg due to childhood polio.
Did get her a Badoo account, but several weirdos turned up- including a well-known, married sex-case who regularly posts on here- you know who you are 'Marc'.
Any takers- pretty sure she'd make stable, if unexciting wife material? I might get commission.

Do you get a discount due to the wonky leg?
"I don't care what the people are thinking, i ain't drunk i'm just drinking"
I’d suggest starting a book on this with the first to guess who Marc is scooping the jackpot, but it wouldn’t last very long.
Perhaps there is a 440 minority shareholder and serial monogamist at a loose end?

Quite a funny thread, I was surprised how friendly KIR came across till I realized he was in Battambang in those days and was just trying to dump some weirdo on his "friends" in the capital.
Sounds good to me. How about the Jungle Bar on the riverfront? Easy to find as they have a map if you click on their front page ad. You could have quite a party on your hands though as Lord Playboy has never knowingly refused a beer, nor Geomon, and then I guess there is Andy in Asia and if he pitches up then Chlim might. You'll recognise Mac by the cowboy hat and the eye patch (he had it picked out by a chicken during some Avian sex). Hanky might pitch up, Seuss is in town and what with other assorted riff raff and camp followers you just might have an expensive first round.
What time?
KiR
All mouth and no trousers. The 440 posse - Geomon had even put a tie on-pitched up at the the time and the place but Marc was nowhere in the vicinity. We had a few beers at the Jungle and then adjourned to Bar Finch.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

Yes, the kids learn spoken English at least by osmosis in many cases from their watching of TV and several forms of social media via ICT etc. And those around major tourist sites trying to flog you something also seem to quickly develop basic spoken English too.
I am in regular communication, at least two or three times a week, with one Cambodian woman, age 30, who family I have known at Kg Speu since 2011, who is currently a vendor/seller in a suburban Phnom Penh market, with very limited written English who has solved the problem by simply using her Oppo smart phone and Viber in association with Google Translate. I am not entirely sure how she is doing this so effectively for us to be in real time conversation so regularly but however she is doing it it is working well.
So, yes indeed, there are many avenues for the Cambodian youngsters of today to acquire spoken English skills.

Look at him, picky-choosy, don’t want this, don’t want that. Millions of guys stuck in western countries now can only dream about what is at a 5 minute tuktuk ride for you. They get no shagging, living in freezing lockdowns, it’s like back to the army again.I want to get married within 5 years so i do not have to be one of those 60-year-old guys walking on the riverside with a 20-year-old gf.
People never know when they are truly happy, i guess. OP, enjoy pleasures of life in Cambodia while you can, because it may not last for a long time.

i am not really a social person. My idea of socializing is going to the market to buy eggs or to the doctor to have my toe checked out. Usually, i meet women online and it takes me about 6 months to find someone this way. I do think I am the old-fashioned type when it comes to relationships. I would prefer to have my parents set me up with someone however when i had asked the mother to do that for me when i was 16 years old for some reason she told me that we do not do arranged marriages. I understand in the USA they have matchmaker services for people who are either introverts like me or who are too busy to go on dates. So far when i have met women i usually chat with them for a few months unless we live in the same country. Then we would meet a few times. Then we become girlfriend/boyfriend. Then after 6 months I propose to her and plan to have a wedding 1 year later. Some reason the lady never follows through with the wedding. I always support my Girlfriend and treat them with respect/ I do not cheat on them or abuse then in any way.Ot Mean Loi wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 12:48 pmWell, I only seem to attract flack on this forum but in real life in Cambodia over many years I have never had any problems meeting and socialising with many very good Cambodian women, but then I actively engage and mix with Cambodians and I have none of the excellent "qualifications" you are presenting as possessing.
And as for language skills, I am not multi-lingual as you appear to be, and in fact I have now forgotten far more Khmer than I care to admit since 1992, when very few Cambodian women spoke reasonable English and learning Khmer was essential, because now even children in the back blocks of distant provinces frequently speak quite passible to very good English as it is a language taught in many provincial state schools.
If you wish to meet potential Cambodian partners, or even friends for that matter, then you need to attend events and activities frequented by them and socialize with them and engage them in conversation. No different in reality from your home country or the other countries you appear to have transited through.
So what is your social life?
And always remember the very true saying...That you can take the girl out of the village but never the village out of the girl. So in what social-demographic grouping do you believe you belong and how would such a potential Cambodian partner fit in to that scene on your return to your home country? Are you aspirational and upwardly mobile? Because for a happy relationship over time any future partner will need to be able to closely match your trajectory and fit in with the society and fellow workers/professionals you associate with and socialise with.
Just random thoughts.

Try getting some cunt not to want to marry you.
Don't know if it's been said, but does anyone know where to meet women not looking for marriage?
