Hi Scoe14.

There are - of course - many, many options in Phnom Penh, but the White River Guesthouse on St. 172 is a well regarded, e.g. definitely 'visits welcome' + will likely match the other requirements you mention.

Might do the trick. Secure, and the wifi is great too.

Only a couple days this trip, see whatever PP has to offer, pool desired. This is a scouting trip for future endeavors.

Budget is really not a concern. I'm thrifty though, $40-65 a night.

always found the queenwood hotel to be alright, pretty central, good service etc.

My friend whom lives in SR always stays at White River II. It's 10$, AC + balcony, walking distance from a lot on riverside, and yes, guest friendly, from what he says.

Wasn't white river associated with various scams and/or several deaths in the recent past? Or was it all before stagger Lee ran their marketing?
