Hi. I apologize if this has already been covered somewhere else, but a quick search didn't reveal much.
What is the current situation when applying for an ordinary visa? Is a work permit required? Supporting documentation?
I'm planning to move to Cambodia from the U.S. around October. I want to get an ordinary visa, then extend it 12 months. I don't have any immediate plans to work as I'll be living there on money I've saved while pursuing creative endeavors.
I'm considering applying via the Washington D.C. Consulate. But perhaps that's a bad idea if I don't have supporting documentation? Is it best to apply upon arrival?
Any recent experience or insider knowledge is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Ordinary Visa: Current Situation
I'm not a negative person, I encourage people all the time...it's usually to f**k off! But, whatever.
