Transfer of Cambodian entry stamp to new passport

Transfer of Cambodian entry stamp to new passport

I know that you can just go to the border with the old cancelled and the new passports and get stamped out in the new one.But I want to get a Thai visa,preferably without having to produce my old passport at the Thai embassy.So, is the transfer of the Cambodian stamp free of charge?Do you have to go to the immigration office yourself or can an agency handle this ?

Just carry and show both passports, simple.
