Apparently the 7$ is for one stop only. Even if the first stop is on the way to the second stop.
I told them the furthest destination and he agreed the price - there was 2 of us and my friends house was on the way to mine.
When we stopped to let him out the driver said to me 'now I go back or you pay me $7 more'.
I told him 'now you go to my house as you agreed or I pay you nothing'
There was a bit of an angry impasse until I told him I would call the company to complain.
I could understand if it was a circuitous route, but the taxi didn't even have to leave the road it was travelling on.
So, to apply that logic, if I get a fixed rate taxi and want to stop at an ATM mid route to pick up money I need to pay double fare?
