I think that's the point, there was an expat owned business charging $60 and pocketing a lot of money doing nothing, according to those posts.PSD_Kiwi wrote:e-Visa costs $30 plus $6 processing fee, there used to be a $3 credit card charge also but not sure about now... It definitely isn't $60 though.Miguelito wrote:I read it as charging $60 for one.PSD_Kiwi wrote:There is only one type of electronic visa available, the e-Visa which is a T-Type (tourist) visa only. How could someone be making $60 off a visa that only costs $38 Vlad?

I think that there is some confusion in this thread between:
(i) The online electronic visa (eVisa) system for tourists to book for their holiday to Cambodia from their home country - which is the service/system that CINET Technologies was running under licence from the MoFA, and;
(ii) online system run for in country renewals, or extensions, of business/retirement/whatever visas by companies here for people living here.
The point (i) regards the OP declaration from the MoFA regarding them removing the license from CINET and giving it to some other politicians son-in-law/brother/nephews business instead.
Point (ii) is the one raised in the other thread that somebody linked to in this thread a few posts up ^^^

I asked in the other Visa thread about how the VoA situation is right now, but anyway, I'll
ask here as well if there is any benefit in getting an eVisa? Are there any issues with VoA?

e-Visa (electronic T-type) is more expensive than getting a T-type VOA, the only benefits are that you will not have an entire passport page taken up by a full page visa and you won't have to wait in line to receive the VOA.PSD_Kiwi wrote:Yes, VOA is still available to those from eligible countries. E-type (Ordinary) $35, T-type (Tourist) $30, fill out VOA form and supply 1x pp photo (or $2-3 if you don't have one), both valid for 1 mth, single entry only.
I'm not a negative person, I encourage people all the time...it's usually to f**k off! But, whatever.
