Vietjet starting Ho Chi Minh City to Phnom Penh Route

The Ho Chi Minh City – Phnom Penh route will be operated daily roundtrip with the flight time of 45 minutes per leg. The flight departs from Ho Chi Minh City at 17:35 (local time) and arrives in Phnom Penh at 18:20 (local time). The return flight takes off in Phnom Penh at 19:30 (local time) and arrives in Ho Chi Minh City at 20:15.

Pretty perfect timing for a weekend trip - Friday night to Sunday evening.

Now we need a Hanoi option.

I flew with them last weekend, their customer service is fucking atrocious, they seem reluctant to get everyone checked in. It makes for a horrible experience. There will almost always be a delay. On the plus side the air hostesses are hot and they mostly employ foreign pilots. Also it it opens this route up to competition that's great.

Qatar airlines ply this route too and can be very reasonably priced.

Lanmei Airlines (LQ, Phnom Penh) is planning to begin commercial flight operations from September 15 onwards analysis of schedule data has revealed.

According to Airline Route, the nascent Cambodian carrier is looking to begin flights with return services from Phnom Penh to each of Hanoi (4x weekly), Ho Chi Minh City via Siem Reap (4x weekly), and Macau Int'l via Siem Reap (3x weekly). Operations are to be on-board A320-200 aircraft.

It's cheap and it's . . . That's about it. Agree about service. Flew with them several times in the last few months. Their BKK-SGN flights run in agreeable midday hours for both cities. But cabin staff can't wait to get their jobs half-assed done and sit down for the flight. And VietJet must have the ugliest staff uniforms on the planet. As for the staff hotness . . . really? Not in my experience. Air Asia has prettier girls. Although I haven't flown AA in years.

I noted VietJet flights in and out of PP are in rush hour. Isn't that great?

Yes 7:30 pm take off.

Taking into account travelling to the airport (from central), waiting at airport, passport control at the other end. Your only gonna knock off about an hour or so over taking the bus.

Would have thought they would announce the Hanoi route before HCMC, still cannot find a direct route on Skyscanner for this one

Just had a flight Ho Chi Minh to Phnom Penh on the 27th November 1735 out arr.1820 even managed to get a window seat at check in all for $47 happy with service

i think you should drive car or motorbike... this is more cheaper and you can see all the view on your way... this is really interesting... for sure...
