Air Asia Loyalty Status
I haven’t used Air Asia much, but the flights are an excellent deal, but, what does the loyalty program mean? I know you earn “Big Points”, which seem *useless*, but what about the different tiers of membership? I’m currently Gold - what does that get me?

Look it up on the website
I'm not a negative person, I encourage people all the time...it's usually to f**k off! But, whatever.
I think it's strictly access to deals:
Why Join AirAsia BIG
Depending on your status, you get access to different ways to redeem your points -- nothing else. No free bags, priority boarding, or anything, not even a reach around.

if u only use aa for short hall flights a few times a year, i figure it takes about 10 years to earn enough points for a free trip even in the same country
"We are turning into a nation of whimpering slaves to Fear—fear of war, fear of poverty, fear of random terrorism, or suddenly getting locked up in a military detention camp on vague charges of being a Terrorist sympathizer." HST
Yeah, I'm currently on a trip in Kerala out of Sihanouk, checked my points for the outward leg 277 and 93 of them were for purchasing premium seats.
Takes 4500 points for the cheapest free flight so doubt I will be getting one of them soon.
However, to be fair it was a cheap deal anyway!
