I went up to Siem Reap back in March as things were closing down, and had a wonderful weekend. Planning to return this weekend - my favorite hotels are closed, but I got a steal on a place through AirBnB.
Everyone that has been up in the last month or so has described it as a ghost town. So, what is actually open there? Where to go to dinner and drinks afterwards?

A lot has opened. Just no customers.
Pub Street has some places open. Worth walking around. One I believe is 30 percent off.
Jaya House Sky Bar just opened.
Khema opened.
Viva is usually rather full as they are doing 30 percent off. Food sucks but good people watching.
Visit temples if you can. It’s incredibly quiet.

I was there back in mid-May and it was really dead. But we stumbled on Picasso, a cool little bar on alley W close to the Night market. A lot of local expats go there to hang out. They o a great Caipirinha. Some very friendly and young expat girls hang out there too. Though I prefer to eat local when I am in the Kingdom
Right across the alley, there is a great Gelato place - Gelato Labs It could compete with the real stuff from Italy. Chocolate Kampot Pepper and Banana were my favorites. excellent Italian style coffee too.

Khema is open. Malis too. Georges Rhumerie. Sadly not Cuisine Wat Damnak.
Some places are opening back up , offering deliveries and take away's . Just as many places closing down on a regular basis , never to reopen . Many tenants re-negotiating leases . Some landlords refusing to do so , tenants walk .
KTV's closed . Schools closed . Massage parlours , closed . Most of the bigger hotels , closed . A very relieving lack of Tuk Tuks cluttering the streets .
Apart from all that , life is good in Siem Reap .
