arrival in cambodia during covid pandemic
hi guys, does anyone know if 2 year-old babies need to undergo swab tests when arriving in PNH? do we need to pay 2000usd as deposit for the baby too? Thanks guys
You're travelling with a 2-year old kid during a pandemic?
Your nerves must be shot, must be scary.
Good luck.

Deposit not required for children, yes they are swabbed, but orally only.

Can someone tell me the latest requirements for Khmers returning from Australia?
Quarantine or not?
Quarantine or not?
Yes...Mandatory 14 day monitored quarantine, they can either stay at the Government quarantine facilities for free, or pay for the hotel option.Bruce Highway wrote: ↑Mon Dec 28, 2020 9:00 amCan someone tell me the latest requirements for Khmers returning from Australia?

They also require a medical certificate indicating negative COVID-19 status via PCR test issued no more than 72 hours before departure. Must be original, signed and stamped.

Although it seems that if you bitch about it enough and be generally a pain in the hole to the check-in staff then exceptions can be made...
Even though they are right.ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote: ↑Mon Dec 28, 2020 1:31 pmAlthough it seems that if you bitch about it enough and be generally a pain in the hole to the check-in staff then exceptions can be made...
Gives a great impression.
pew, pew, pew, pew!
In your case, authorities were a little more lenient, but it really isn't worth the risk is it.

I heard that the borders were recently opened and I'm thinking of traveling around Cambodia...
Great idea! You could also easily find a well paid teaching job, while you're at it.ElizabethFargos wrote: ↑Tue Dec 29, 2020 7:01 pmI heard that the borders were recently opened and I'm thinking of traveling around Cambodia...

Anyone know what hotels are now being assigned for the quarantine process? Sokha is no longer taking bookings. 2 weeks in some dump is a scarey thought.
