A girl I know, when she was a student would go to a local coffee shop and read newspapers every morning to the folks having their coffee.
This was about 15 years ago and she picked up between $150 and $200 per month for 45-60 minutes work each morning. That's what I imagined a Khmer pressreader to be - but it didn't sound covid safe.

Those arriving in the country must take two Covid-19 tests during the duration of their stay in England.
The quarantine hotel package costs £2,285 per adult, with £1,430 extra for an additional adult in the same hotel room.
Sounds familiar?Passengers in quarantine hotels share videos of slugs, mould and inedible food and say they were treated like 'prisoners' after returning from red list countries

I'm not a negative person, I encourage people all the time...it's usually to f**k off! But, whatever.
Getting regrets, I left Cambodia
The ASQ seems to be pretty popular, seeing the pricing going through the roof with each new option added.
Now, the waiting is for more "normal" entry accommodation becoming available for ASQ.
In the meantime, the Courtyard no longer gives refunds, when the government decides they want the USD 2000 themselves. Now only a refund when your entry is denied.

Are more ASQ locations and/or quarantine requirements upcoming ?
ASQ hotels reported to be not for:
- Visitors arriving from Thailand/India/Vietnam (I assume by air).
- UK passport holders.

Correct

No restrictions on UK passport holders booking ASQ hotels now by the looks of it

Thinking further on this, maybe OK hotel wants to join the ASQ party ? That could certainly be interesting.

I don't see why they wouldn't. They have a fairly good reputation for the room, WiFi and food.
Surprised no mid range places have joined.
Is this their choice or is the asq list hard to get on?

Look at who is on the list.
That answers your question.
Difficult to say.
I think the top end hotels aren't that much interested in the USD 2000 government mystery bus deliveries, so keen on higher priced ASQ alternatives.
The more midrange hotels might be tempted to try to be away from "nearly always full at a bottom price" and trade-in for a higher price, though no guaranteed occupation.
The bottom end "hotels" might be very happy with the USD 2000 government package, they earn fortunes more than on the normal free tourist/addicts market.
Actually, I don't have the impression the ASQ hotels are "full", more the opposite.

For them the quarantine has been a gravy train. There's no way shitholes like the townview could get away with their scams in free market conditions.Actually, I don't have the impression the ASQ hotels are "full", more the opposite.
