I'm not a negative person, I encourage people all the time...it's usually to f**k off! But, whatever.
Indeed another step towards opening up. But I doubt many tourists want to spend 7 days of their holiday in quarantine.

It is intentional. Khmer officials don't make mistakes. Plus they've heard about Florida man.PSD_Kiwi wrote: βTue Oct 19, 2021 1:43 pm@Alexandra or other admins, feel free to update my original post with this..

It won't be long, Thailand is opening soon with zero quarantine for US travelers. Vaccinated people are the same no matter where you are from, I assume there are some pro china politics at play here. Khmer officials have vaccinated every Man, Woman, Child, and soon Dogs, and Cats? its pointless now to delay things.
They have updated the drop down list and all those countries which were previously missing have now been added.

And, how long, before they close again ? With 50% vaccination level, you won't get very far, controlling Covid-19 in the wild.Guest wrote: βWed Oct 20, 2021 1:01 amIt won't be long, Thailand is opening soon with zero quarantine for US travelers. T-type (Tourist Visas) can now be applied for in advance from Cambodian Embassies/Consulates.
e-Visas (electronic online Tourist Visa) can be applied for from evisa.gov.kh (as per previous post)
Visa Exempt Entry (ASEAN passport holders) permitted.

Ok, it appears that it is no longer a mandatory requirement to pre-book an ASQ Hotel in order to apply for the e-Visa, as you can see from the screenshot, they have removed the asterix which indicates mandatory, from the Health Insurance & Hotel Booking.

Why is E-type visa not available?
It would be nice if 6 month extensions were available.

The DoI have now made it official that T-type (Tourist) Visas and e-Visas (electronic online Tourist Visa) can legally be converted to an E-type EOS...which means that there should be a standard conversion fee across the board when using an agency.
Whether this is a temporary or permanent move is not yet known, however I suspect it is just gonna be temporary until the issuing of VOA's is reinstated.

Iβm hearing a rumor that conversions from T to E* has been suspended as of 1st March. Is there any truth to this?PSD_Kiwi wrote: βThu Jan 27, 2022 6:23 pmThe DoI have now made it official that T-type (Tourist) Visas and e-Visas (electronic online Tourist Visa) can legally be converted to an E-type EOS...which means that there should be a standard conversion fee across the board when using an agency.
