I also DJ!
I also DJ!
I've been behind the turntables since 97 or 98. Scratching and juggling and all that isn't my thing. It's all about selection and the mix. My forte was drum and bass, then a bit of psy-trance. I'm done with all the techno nonsense, now I pretty much play what I would call drunken bar music. 70's, 80's, mixed in with a bit of old school hip hop, this is where I really get rockin. I'll work for five bucks an hour, and an ulimited supply of beer Lao! (haha)

Ummm, you forgot that I'm now in management. In fact I run a restaurant that makes over 2 million U.S. a year.

Yea, um, that's a jokeDesperate.
Is this going to be yet another less than adequate DJ in PP...? I think the market is flooded mate!
Well, playing in front of 5000 people here in San Francisco, getting flown out to Manchester UK for a gig, dj'ing at countless raves, parties, running a succesful club night for two years, I'd say that I'm quite "adequate" mate!!!!!

Being a DJ myself back in the UK, i had toyed with the idea of bringing my decks to PP.
However:
A) Hardly any bars have turntables...
B) ...which means MP3 mixing or CD mixing is far more popular and quite frankly easier
C) Im not sure quite how popular a vinyl DJ would be here as there are very few vinyl junkies or conessieurs around. The crowds here are not really that geared towards it, plus there arent the numbers of punters
D) records might warp in this heat at this time year!
E) $5 - whats the point of bringing shed loads of records for 5 bucks an hour? You could play a didgeredoo at the Lakeside for that much...
F) Anyway, everyone knows the Heart khmer DJ rocks! Same music every night like clockwork.
