Jobs for U.S. Attorneys in Cambodia?
Jobs for U.S. Attorneys in Cambodia?
I've been practicing for 4 years here and am licensed in New York and New Jersey. I'm guessing that there are no jobs, as any transactional work would be handled in the states and the local courts require being conversant in Khmer. But I'm throwing this out there to see if anyone might know anything.

Cannot practice law or go to court....you just, "consult".

All the foreign firms are being targeted aggressively by the Cambodian Bar Association at the moment, especially DFDL who seem to be firmly in Bun's firing line. Invitations to special meetings with relevant authorities have been issued regularly, to the point that the law firms are asking various embassies to get involved in their behalf.

He's in New Jersey. His specialty is filing $99 bankruptcies for clients named Cheryl.LexusSchmexus wrote:RULE university hire lawyers now and then, and several NGOs hire lawyers. Depends on what your specialty is I guess.

That must be why he's having a dry spell back home. I find the idea of a 30 year old lawyer not getting any crumpet to be absolutely preposterous.gavinmac wrote:He's in New Jersey.
