Teaching English in Cambodia
I have been teaching English in Thailand for over 20 years.I have had about enough of the land of smiles, and I am considering giving Cambodia a shot, even if it means a cut in salary. If I can make a least half of what I make in Thailand, which is 25$ an hour, I would be more than willing to make the move to any Kompong.Any schools looking for teachers at the moment or in the near future?
I don't think you'll find work in any Kampong. The provinces are still pretty underdeveloped economically. You will likely have to live in Phnom Penh. Go to PUC or Home of English. Both are OK places to work if you can handle making $10.50/hr or whatever they are offering now.

I don't know how typical this is of teaching jobs in Burma, but it only took a second to Google.

Sounds rather nice, but I'm sure there's a catch ...
