It depends what sort of business you are thinking of starting. If you want to create a McKinsey style management consultancy then I suspect you will struggle. If it's a hospitality business like a restaurant then it will be easier although I hear that can be hit and miss also.

Yes there are many business owners here.

No it is not hard to find staff.

However depending on the industry it can be very difficult to find good hard working English Speaking staff with at least half a brain. I have run all dry season two staff short as I would sooner have my good staff work paid overtime rather than employ someone useless.

A lot depends on the industry and pay rates. Do not expect western standards in thought processes and logic and ability for most service industry jobs.
