Serious answer though, mrschofield. Your experience is practically worthless in Cambodia, and you certainly won't get any work in the charitable fund-raising sector. As for retail, why would someone hire you when they can hire a local for a couple of bucks a day?
gavinmac is right. The best you can hope for is English teaching (open to any reprobate or ne'erdowell) and maybe persuading some expat bar owner that you are just what he needs in his establishment to boost takings, before falling out two months later when he realises he didn't need you after all.

I was thinking a local estate agents would be perfect as i am used to speaking to 400+ people a day face to face organising and negotiating contracts for monthly payments that last two years+ adding up to a value of £192 per donation. Not many people can get someone to donate £192 to a charity they have just heard of but i can do that a few times a day everyday aswell as train other people to do the exact same thing. I have been through alot of training to be able to negotiate and sell face to face amazingly well.scobienz wrote:Serious answer though, mrschofield. So the highest individual donation you've solicited is £192? You couldn't get them to £200?Mrschofield wrote:I was thinking a local estate agents would be perfect as i am used to speaking to 400+ people a day face to face organising and negotiating contracts for monthly payments that last two years+ adding up to a value of £192 per donation. No, he specified over 2 years so I assume the pitch was something like "come on guv, that's only 2 quid a week, surely you can afford that, sign here".So the highest individual donation you've solicited is £192? You couldn't get them to £200?
24 months @8/month is 192.

Maybe William George Jewsbury or the German elephant leg guy could help? They seem to have a lot of experience soliciting donations in the KOW. I'm sure slick Willy would make you a partner in one or more of his multiple business ventures...for a fee, of course.
