SPONSORED THREAD: Finding work from writing in Cambodia
** This post is sponsored by http://www.snappyessays.com **
Each day, more and more people visit Southeast Asia countries. Some of them come as tourists, others stay and live there for years. “What are they doing there?”, you might ask. Well, the most common answer to this question would be “live”. The thing is Southeast Asia in general and Cambodia in particular are famous for its special atmosphere — something that makes you feel differently. There is no hustle and bustle we get used so much living in big cities, no stress and no desire to have a drink in a bar after an extremely long and stressful day. Besides, it’s a place that lets you discover something new and broaden your horizons every single day.
But all that’s good when you plan to spend no more than a month here. What if your plans are bigger than that? Is there a way for expats to stay and work in Cambodia comfortably? It turns out there is, if you’ve got smart goals.
Ways to earn money in Cambodia: from professional writing to trade
1. Freelance jobs.
It’s no secret that the majority of expats who live in Cambodia work as freelancers, and it makes sense. As long as you have stable Internet connection, it’s not a problem to find yourself a job pretty much anywhere in the world. It’s a great option for a broad range of professionals — journalists, IT specialists, web designers, content writers, photographers and even bloggers. So if you’ve got as much as good writing skills or any other type of skills that would let you work remotely, you can try it here.
2. Education.
If you’ve got what it takes to teach others your language, you can find a job in a language school. Definitely not the worst option — teaching writing and reading can be fun, and you can be sure that while you teach locals, they can teach you a lot as well. Just bear in mind that in case you do want to choose this option, Phnom Penh, the country’s capital, is where you need to go.
3. Private business.
There is still a lot of opportunities for those who think that starting a private business if the most attractive option. Opening a café or a restaurant, starting a small hotel or working as a tourist guide — all of this is quite possible if you know all the specifics of running a business here, know what it takes and full of ideas. That said, it’s worth noting that in case you choose to work as a guide for fellow expats, you’ve got to know this is a seasonal type of job. Winter season is when the tourist flow is at its highest, and it’s most likely they you will have to spend the rest of the year not doing much. Well, unless you find something else to do.
4. Hotels and recreation.
As all kinds of hotels, cafes, restaurants and recreation centers pop up in Cambodia one after another, there is a great deal of opportunity to find yourself a job as a hotel manager or receptionist, or a waiter. Something you need to know is most likely, you won’t be able to earn much on a job like this. Unless you are a professional chef, of course — good chefs, like good custom essay writers where you can order an essay, are always in demand.
These, of course, are just a few basic ways to find yourself a way to earn money once you are in Khmer country. There are more of them, and no doubt , you can find your own way to earn if you are creative enough. But no matter what you do, whether it’s expressive writing or tour guiding, you will no doubt benefit from your stay in a country of rich culture and background which Cambodia is.

Has this anything to do with young Billy Jewsbury?
My posts are just jokes, maybe they're rude, offensive, and politically incorrect. They're not my opinion, viewpoint, idea, or judgement, but they're just fucking jokes so lighten up.
Will-Jew is a bit more clever I think.Garry Crabtree wrote:Has this anything to do with young Billy Jewsbury?
Nothing like the quiet calm streets of Phnom Penh! Who needs a beer to relax when you can have a peaceful walk to independence monument?

This isn't rocket science guys. Someone wants to promote their site. They come to me saying we want to post a thread doing that.
I say ok, give us money.
They say ok.
I go to spend it on beer.
See how this shit works?

Don't be so hard on Teletubby. He was almost a successful businessman once, many years ago
