Cambodian for Beginners PDF and Audio MP3
You mix with strange people is all I can say. Because all the foreigners I know in Bangkok are still alive and don't have bitches for wives/ girlfriends such as your acquaintances
Regarding Cambodian girls, you'll make your own experiences, you've been involved in Los for over 20 years, bangkok, north east and pataya (wow is all I can say!!!). You're experienced, nothing to worry about.

Well 5 years ago I'd been living happily in BKK for 4 years and it was a great place, lots of regular people around (and teachers, though most of them were bogus chancers). Toxin basically kicked them all out and sadly main of the professional one left with his famous statement "Thai people don't need foreigners to teach English, Thais can teach themselves" yes really.
Well that left a total vacuum with little opportunity for kids to hear native English. As we know, Thai teacher s are generally execrable.
The upside was that the professionals who remained became in high demand, and my remaining pal is now on 80K baht pm working an international school and he is getting on fine, full work permit and medical ins(he started out on 25k)
Well I had to decamp to Pataya because the post toxin era was disagreeable in BKK.
And, yes, there are a lot of strange people there which I mostly avoid, but it has somewhat jaundiced my outlook
had an email just now from a pal who was nearly beaten up in a bar street by a short time he'd had last week (and paid up and left as you do). She demanded money (for nothing) because she had no money for a room and felt she should be given money for free cos flang have money. He escaped and ran for it, but thats what occurs. They fear nothing and dont give a shit. If you get a problem the police wont help (shake you down for more money)
Thats why we are desperate to escape - but no point jumping from the frying pan etc, hence the cage rattling questions which seemed to have stirred up the juices.

I appreciated this is mega old, but I'm after those audio files. Unsurprisingly the links above no longer work. I don't suppose can share a link to these files again can they?

yep,id like it aswell if it was still floating around.
I use an app on my phone for android. Its called kmer2english
It says it in Khmer, writes in Khmer script and in English . Best thing tho is if they don't understand the word and they cant read, I just hit the play button. It says the word and they all nod and understand. never have trouble communicating any more, even in the poorest provinces where theres no education.
