What kind of car or truck do you drive in Cambodia?

How much is insurance and road tax etc. per year?

Replies from spoiled rich kids and cushy job NGOers welcome but not encouraged.

(old) Honda XR 250 with wet treads, perfect for this time of year. Love watching guys and gals hauling Chalys, Honda street bikes, Yamahas and assorted other small bikes out of the mini-Mekong when it rains hard, and the bike just keeps on going.Very little maintenance, good on petrol, oil top up once a month.Needs a complete makeover, but it's less jao-friendly when it looks like garbage, right? Added advantage, cops think it may be a tourist rental, no hassle, but completely registered, tax paid, etc.

'I dream of one day owning a hot pink Scoopy though

What do you generally do? Take it to a shop for them to do, or buy the adapter?

Only gonna use it once i guess. How much is an adapter?

    Cheers
