Just do like Khmer, build a fire under it.You know there's a place out on #4 that just sells bumpers. They have hundreds.
Bought a secondhand one a couple of weeks back from one of the tool shops near Toul Tompong market. $22 I think, works great.
New ones available top floor of Savanna shopping centre, around $50 - $80 depending on the brand.

bought one 2 months ago at Russian market, they had one for about 40dollars but when I said I was looking for one nearer to 15bucks, they got me a brand new Chinese made 18dollar heat gun. no idea if it is good quality, but it did the job.
ps for the pop-rivets also try the top floor of Savanna shopping centre, i'm pretty sure I saw some there.

Phnom Penh General Electric (I think that's it's name). On the east side of Monivong, just north of 214.
