Nikon D3s Professional Cleaning/Repair
Does anyone know of a camera shop in town that is reputable for servicing and cleaning Nikon equipment? I'm looking for first-hand experience from someone who has been satisfied from their service! Thanks.

If that's the one you pass on the way in from the airport it is the official Nikon dealership and I believe they do repairs. I went into their other outlet on Monivong a while back and was told repairs were handled at Russian Boulevard.Playboy wrote:Their is a Nikon showroom on Russian Boulevard, not sure if they do servicing or not.

Thanks! I ended up going to a place called Camera Hub located just south of Psar Tmey in Monivong. They said they have access to a certified Nikon technician from Singapore. That's good enough from me. I suppose it could be the same place you guys are referring to. I just have them my 70-200 2.8 lens for starters. Don't want to give them my camera yet.rl66 wrote:If that's the one you pass on the way in from the airport it is the official Nikon dealership and I believe they do repairs. ^Good idea. I wouldn't want to give them the whole shebang right away.
Sucks that it's got to be sent to Singapore, but from the sound of it, it needs to be sent somewhere, and that would happen anywhere. See how they do, take it from there, or maybe use your back-up and wait 'till you go to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur or something.

Well the guy actually works locally! They called today and said it's a bad AFS moto. They'll replace it for 180. I guess we will see what happens. I hope I'm not getting screwed over.Iridesce wrote:^Good idea. I wouldn't want to give them the whole shebang right away.

Just passed Camera Hub and that was the shop I was talking about. If you wouldn't mind I'd be interested how the repair work turns out for future reference. At least your arm will get a rest from carrying that beast of a lens around.jacobincambodia wrote:Thanks! I ended up going to a place called Camera Hub located just south of Psar Tmey in Monivong. How did the repair go? I'm looking for a reputable shop myself.
