Anyone know the approximate price per M^2 for a standard shop house outside Phnom Pehn (Vihear Sour)?
I did a search and came up with $150 - 300 from a year ago. Are these prices still applicable?
Thank you.

Based on my experience recently in SHV, they are still accurate.
Bricks $62 per 1,000 (20sqm of walls), double that for sand and cement and add for render materials. Labour is $7 per sqm for single brick walls rendered to a paint finish both sides, so work on about $15per sqm or $22 per sqm for double brick.
I just built a new bathroom for myself within an existing structure and it cost about $665, or $150 per sqm.
Glass blocks for dry bathroom and window, $2 each or $100 (an indulgence)
Hot water $75
Toilet $65
Handbasin and taps about $35
Tiles $45
Exhaust fan $20
Pipes about $40
Mirror and shelf about $25
Door - not sure (say $45)
2 walls about $120 including materials
Labour apart from building the walls about $60
Paint for walls about $20
Light and wiring about $20
Bathrooms and kitchens are the most expensive parts of any dwelling construction.
I do not think concrete or steel has gone up since I last inquired, concrete was $65 per cum and reo was $720 per tonne which was over 1km of D10 rebar - 800 lm will do about 100sqm of flooring at 250mm spacing, so the materials for the floor work out at about $1500 per 100sqm ($15 per sqm)of flooring not including labour (so lets double that to $30 per sqm of concrete floor at 100mm thick) plus boxing, beams or footings or pilings.
Prices will at increase quite a bit if you use a contractor/builder for the whole job but depending on finishes you should get away with $150-$300 per sqm even with a contractor.

Note to self: Must be nice to morons.
My friend in kampong cham builds from 45$ m2 to 65$ m2 (plus cost of cables and tubes and any other extra that is not in a basic Khmer structure) an old man with an handful of young guys from the countryside. Also he builds awesome wooden huts on the rooftops at a very low cost.
You get what you pay for. It can still be incredibly cheap. A couple of years ago my mate built five hotel rooms in a row, double brick, skillion roof each with ensuite, A/C, furniture, flooring and flat screens - less than 30k.
