How much would a full time Tuk Tuk driver cost per month?

[OP asked about the driver, for the hard of understanding]
I came, I argued, I'm out

Why oh why would anyone wish to buy a tuk tuk, contract with a tuk tuk driver or engage in any way with a tuk tuk, apart from telling them to p1ss off?
I will never understand this place I admit.

It's a shame the lazy git don't pick you up from the boozer - you probably wouldn't be such a raspberry ripple if he did.Garry Crabtree wrote:I bought a Tuk Tuk about 6 or 7 years ago and its been a massive success. I paid about $800 for the tuk tuk, and about the same for a bike. I got my house guard to train to be a driver and he now drives my kids to school, wife to the market, and me to the boozer, 7 days a week.

I had a tuk tuk driver that was great. Anything I needed he would take care of for me. Huge, huge time saver.alifeapart wrote:Why oh why would anyone wish to buy a tuk tuk, contract with a tuk tuk driver or engage in any way with a tuk tuk, apart from telling them to p1ss off?

Great guy, totally honest and trustworthy. Extremely hard working. Still a good friend of mine.

No point in engaging this twat "alifeapart" in any kind of discussion, he doesn't understand anything - just tell him to piss off.holidayinkh wrote:I had a tuk tuk driver that was great. Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
Cheer Guys for all he responses. I aint gonna do it, you've convinced me of that. I would have been happy to pay around 250 a month (Like I said I usually spend 10 a day and sometimes a lot more) but it sounds like it will be more hassle than it's worth.
I might try and think of something else, the buying the Tuk Tuk idea was interesting but again probably more hassle than it's worth.

Indeed. That bike trip home from the GV turned out to be rather expensive in the end.slavedog wrote:It's a shame the lazy git don't pick you up from the boozer - you probably wouldn't be such a raspberry ripple if he did.Garry Crabtree wrote:I bought a Tuk Tuk about 6 or 7 years ago and its been a massive success. My posts are just jokes, maybe they're rude, offensive, and politically incorrect. They're not my opinion, viewpoint, idea, or judgement, but they're just fucking jokes so lighten up.

I am always appreciative of good running systems, even more when it is controlled by an expat.Garry Crabtree wrote:I bought a Tuk Tuk about 6 or 7 years ago and its been a massive success. Its quick, cheap and painless. Plus I don’t have to argue with him or try to remember where I live when I'm pissed.
Well done !
There was supposedly a German tuk tuk driver in Laos. I think he went back to his country.
It was only a matter of time.

Although $25 000 strikes me as a little exorbitant.
