It does stay light a little later in Chiang Mai in the "summer," as late at 7 p.m. But you want occasional daylight at 10 p.m., you could move to Reykjavik or Dunedin.

Even Edinburgh is later than 10pm occasionally in the summer (and I use the word summer lightly).

Not sure what to make of this question. My first thought was 'What a fucking thick cunt!' It gets dark here about the same time - give or take half an hour to 45 mins - every night . Theoretically, it should get dark at the latest around June 20 and at the earliest around the same date in December. Tonight, according to a Google search for sunset + Phnom Penh, it will get dark at 17:32. If you're really sad, there's a Google Calendar add-on that you can get for sunsets and sunrises that I use when I'm back in northern Europe as I like to get up at 4am with the sun when possible.
I'm very surprised people were shocked by this question.
Especially when Americans don't even know basic geography, but are experts in daylight hours around the world.
I guess I've spent too long living near the top of the world.

Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

More saddened than shocked. (although, even your subject line is all arse about tit). When you hear of 24 hour days and nights at the poles and after a year of having been here and seeing the sun set at around 6pm each night, did it not occur to you then that it's never light beyond 7pm?finy wrote:I'm very surprised people were shocked by this question.

Probably have to wait till the next election.finy wrote:Does it ever stay light here until around 10pm?
It's always dark by 6pm at the moment, which makes it hard to squeeze things into the day.
I can't find any real info online.

It also stays light a lot later than 10pm in Edinburgh during the long days.
Or did you go to sleep and not notice.
Just sayin.
