I've now had a little weasel try to open my window twice while I've been sitting in my room with the lights on and no padlock on the door.
The windows have bars and they would need to smash the glass to open the door if I was sleeping, so what is the point?
Are they just too stupid to realize the room isn't worth breaking into?
What is the point?

Most likely he is scoping things out for the long pole theft method. Many people leave their mobile phones, wallets, etc. on a table in plain view. It just takes a long enough pole and a window cracked open one inch.finy wrote:I've now had a little weasel try to open my window twice while I've been sitting in my room with the lights on and no padlock on the door.

What you think isn't worth stealing doesn't necessarily equate with what the thief deems to be of value. I've had nasty, very old, well-worn, smelly jogging shoes with worn out soles and worn out $1 shower flip flops stolen from outside my front door in PP where I left them to dry out in the sun. They apparently had value to someone.
..and if you disagree with me, you are one billion times WORSE than HITLER!!!
I'll have to buy some boxes and hide everything behind my bed.
I hope they don't use fishing rods with hooks, but it wouldn't surprise me.
A dirty backpacker once stole my 2 year old $5 flip flops in Krabi.
