Can anyone recommend any routes where ones mind can somewhat switch off from thinking about the possibility of traffic cutting across you? Dirt or tarmac.
I was wondering whether crossing over the river might be a good idea?
Any roads with a few shady trees? Or even running tracks?
Cheers

To beat traffic and heat, getting up early is essential. I usually run river front, Diamond Island or indeed to the other side of the river.
