Kampot is surprisingly well-served nowadays in that department. Chez Aline has a relationship with Le Votre in Phnom Penh and carries some of their range of terrines, cheeses etc. Aline also make their own rillettesricecakes wrote:IT has probably changed but a few years back you could not get anything by way of "luxury foods" in Kampot and by that I just mean the stuff you take for granted being able to buy in any supermarket in PP. Good cheese, deli meats, olives, indian foods, decent fruit and Veg, condiments etc.

I've lived in Kep for about 1.5 years. It's not true about finding places to rent, there's quite a few around the area. Not all are advertised, so best bet is go down and look around. I have a house for sale if you're interested.mpd wrote:American guy moving to Kep in April. Questions about life there: finding an apartment, etc. Things to consider before making the leap. Warnings? Good stuff? Bad stuff?
Much thanks for any help.
