At least I read so much, now I´m totally confused. I also tried to find answers here, but not really found, what I need.
What I want to import:
Mainly car spare parts for my own cars (few Mercedes and another car), as I can´t get, what I need. I bought very cheap new parts from businesses, which stopped operating, used parts and a few new parts from regular, but also inexpensive dealers. In between some shoes and clothes and food. The parts are only for private use (for sure non commercial), I even want to take the cars with me, if I left Asia (I collect such cars).
But maybe it also makes sense, sometimes sending few more parts for friends. But this all depends on procedure, costs and possible problems with the procedure. A friend of mine drives a pretty new Lexus. He also has some broken sensors. Even for that car he just get used sensors.
For example, I have mirrors, head and tail lights, engine and supension parts like timing belts or shocks, relays, sensors, ecu´s etc. - simply anything, I cant get here (to be honest I have to bring back those cars in normal conditions, after they had seen some local "garages".
Quantity:
First Idea was package freight (LCL) by sea freight, but as I not need that much, I ended up with 3 to 5 parcels (120x60x60cm, up to 31.5 kg). But I not ship at one time all parcels, but parcel by parcel (now I want send one, once I have the first one here, the next one).
Shipping:
The value of each parcel ist between $200 and 500 (I buy really cheap and know also few wholesaler), the weight is between 7 and 30 kg.
It is delivered with DHL from Germany. On the DHL website I just find general informations which make me even more confused (like it is in general not allowed to import to Cambodia, but they do and I need the document CN 23).
I opened a p o box in Sihanoukville and also tried to ask the post officers, but first: "yes, yes, you pick up at Phnom Penh", than "yes, yes, you can pick up at Sihanoukville".
For bigger imports, I know, I need a customs broker. But also for such parcels? The taxes and duties are up to 50 percent, when I understood the customs tables, which are online available. But that´s not that much important. Of course I will pay, what I have to pay.
But anyhow, does anyone know the exactly procedure?
Do I really have to use such a customs broker? If yes, anyone can recommend such a broker (at SHV)?
Do I have to travel for each parcel to PP to went to the customs office, or is it possible to pay taxes and duties at the Postal Office in Sihanoukville?
Or is there any other way to make it as easy as possible?
If I can work it out, I would like to bring 2 to 4 parcels per year to Cambodia. So really just small.
Please no "maybe this or that will work out". I really need some answers based on real experiences.
Thanks in advance for any answer which helps me to go ahead with this
Tom

I receive about 6 parcels per year in my SHV Po box without any issues.
They are less than 10kg and marked as gifts or baby toys etc...

I don't see what your problem is unless you are trying to smuggle contraband disguised/declared as motor vehicle spares.
I buy products in China for an organization in Battambang and have them sent by EMS and/or DHL and they sail through postal/general customs and get delivered to the door of the organization to which they are addressed.
You just have to make an accurate declaration as to contents and value on the (postal) declaration form.

if you need to move larger amounts i can organize a meeting with customs officials and logistic companies as well as clear tax/duty related issues
Just got a phone from OZ in 2 days DHL no questions asked but with the battery missing and the description as "repaired screen"

I guess I brought in a couple of hundred parcels over the last years, ranging from a couple of pounds to 50 kilos. Twice, I was questioned. Once, I ended up paying USD 200.00, the other time they let it slide.

Thank you very much for all that (for me) great answers. The point is, so much different informations. This one knows this, the other one another story. In between all the infos on sites like the German DHL site. I was really totally confused. It is the first time, I can read about experiences with different kind of parcels.
@jackrossi
Maybe I will import another car and a motorbike (everything own private use). But I fly to Europe first to check a few things this year. If there´s any need, I would come back to your offer.
Once again thanks to all people writing those infos for me. You really helped me. Thanks.
