I have been in twice to this branch in Kampot and asked what to put in the 2 boxes for internet banking ( PC ) :- "Login & Authentication Code " and still not have an answer as they keep telling me to use " ABA Mobile App ", now I cannot use that as need a phone number which I have but they still have not changed/ updated it to my new number.
Help please.

Just logged in yesterday for the first time. They should have given you an envelop with your codes.
Use login method. Input the ebank ID that is on the outside of the envelop (dark blue on a light blue background...), and use the PIN code that is on the inside of the envelop as the password.
Then they will send you an SMS with a validation code on your phone which you will need to input in the popup (so you'll need your updated phone number registered with them first).
Note, the codes on the envelop are extremely difficult to read. A hint, the ebank ID is 13 digits.

Excuse my ignorance but what can you do with internet banking? I suspect that i'll need internet banking for my travels but have no idea what's it all about, really, nor what it entails.

Check your balance, transfer between own/other peoples accounts, pay bills, international transfers...

No hidden costs, it's free. I'm no tech geek, but from what I understand they have very secure programmes in place to protect the ibanking, also get the crypto card for extra security.

I have heard a few negative reports recently about the Kampot branch of ABA, I personally haven't had any problems with them, maybe they need a manager to sort their shit out at th Kampot branch.

[quote]a few negative reports recently about the Kampot branch of ABA[/quote

Now I would not say that it is the Kampot Branch that is being the cause, but head office. As every things seems to be done there not in the Branches. ( so any little changes to your account has to be done in PP, cannot be done on a branch computer )
My experience of this is :- 8 weeks ago I applied for a new card as old one expired, received it a few days ago after going in every week on a Friday, as I was always told, it will be here on Friday. So every time I went in the person that I have been dealing with would be on the phone to ?? to stir them up. He even told me that He was embarrassed as to the card not having been sent yet from PP.
So, eventually I received my card on Friday gone and was told it will be ready to use ( activated ) in 20 minutes. So yesterday, needing money, went to ATM and a message :- "card not activated ".!!!!
As for changing my phone number, I informed Him of my new number weeks ago and He fills in a form to send to PP ? for them to process, this has been done 3 times so far and still not changed.
So as I said, not Kampot Branch's doing for all this, as this Man really tries to help.

Sounds pretty strange. Always been easy for me to get things done at the ABA locations locally. I have 3 active accounts with them now.

One complaint I have is that the app cannot be used on more than one device. I set it up on the misses phone but cannot set it up on my phone due to the restriction.
