Tickets to Cambodia
Can I fly to Cambodia on a one way ticket and still get an ordinary visa at the port of entry?
This has been covered before and the general consensus is that it depends on the airline you're flying with. The majors don't seem to have a problem and will let you board at your point of departure. Some of the smaller ones like Air Asia will want to see an outbound ticket, because they don't want to be burdened with the cost of your return trip if you're refused entry.ejoshua1978 wrote:Can I fly to Cambodia on a one way ticket and still get an ordinary visa at the port of entry?
You will have no problems with Cambodian immigration.
If you're worried, book a $12 bus trip to HCMC and use that as proof of departure.

The cancellation fees would be more than $12chkwoot wrote:Couldn't you also book a return flight on a different airline, show the printouts, then cancel and get a refund after you arrive?
Check with your airline.....there is a decent chance you could be denied at the ticket counter before departure.

I fly in and out of PP more times a year than I care to think about - and never once have I been asked to prove an onward journey...
Thailand on the other hand insist on it... in the UK I was asked to prove onward travel thru Bangkok; but when I showed them I had a flight the same day to PP with another airline they didn't ask any other questions.
Anyway - the OP may have been better asking the same question on Google... the answer was there with the first link.

If you are refused entry that bus ticket cannot be used, neither can any outbound flight on a later date.scobienz wrote:This has been covered before and the general consensus is that it depends on the airline you're flying with. Some officials aren't thinking straight.
Few weeks ago I ran into a couple who were refused boarding to HCMC because they had no visa. Someone told them Vietnam issues Visa on Arrival.
