Snakes eat frogs, lizards, rats, fish, birds and bird eggs. Clearing your garden of these will result in a desert.

Garlic has zero effect on snakes. Anybody that suggests it does is either ignorant or trying to scam you. No other plant or chemical does, either. Get rid of rats/ frogs and clear hiding places, rubble etc.
Learn to identify common species. Rat snakes are great to have around. King cobras, too. They are very shy, avoid people and eat other snakes.
Golden and Paradise tree snakes, pythons, all harmless and control various pests or wildlife.
Keelbacks, likewise
You don't want kraits, Siamese spitting cobras, Russell's vipers or Malayan pit vipers around. Get an expert to relocate them.
Better still - get Vlad!slither wrote: ↑Fri May 26, 2023 4:21 am

Relocated a yellow-spotted keelback from a business today, juvenile, less than 30cm, but nearly shut the business down, LOL
