What are the best fitness centers in PP now?
What are the best fitness centers in Phnom Penh right now? Which would have clean and well maintained weights and quality machines? Any deals going on now?
(I know there are old threads. But let's start a fresh list).

The best is not always the most convenient . Good Time in Toul Kork is great value if you live close .

my mistake. I do humbly back step and bow down. I must have still had my translator set to 'aggressive forum for newbies' instead of 'Chuck Wow is the most genial poster on here'. Corrected now.

I was going to post something similar to Chuck's comment this morning like 'Nice day for a walk' but he beat me to it. Didn't find it really aggressive, it's just chukyism.violet wrote:my mistake. Never mind.

K440 is not a very good place to get information.

It really depends on what you want.
Superfit on Mao Tse Tung
I thought it looked nice, good weights area but it seemed that cardio machines had been bought second hand.
Hotel gyms (cambodiana, Sofitel, intercon) most of these decent, probably nicer pools than other places and smaller gyms.
The Place. New machines, all round good. Clean. Good selection of classes.
All of these are similar prices at 650-750$ per year. Also offer monthly and 6 monthly options.
I these are the top end gyms that I know of.
I have tried them all and settled on the place. Not cheap but similar price to my gym back home and actually has better facilities.
There are other places around which cost 300 ish a year.
PP sports club maybe VIP sports club and a few others.
With these places you get older machines, lower standard of hygiene etc etc.
If you just want free weights there are plenty of Khmer gyms around which will do the job for less than a dollar a visit.

Sofitel ain't 750 chum. Over 900 bucks from memory when enquiring few months ago.
Superfit has a really strange lay out. Weird.
Muscle and Fitness has low ceilings. One those joints where you can't use the treadmill if you 90kg or more. Old weights.
The Place was ok in old place. New place full of annoyances like rich Kboys placing their phones on work out benches. Not to mention the chandeliers.
Amatak Crossfit in Russian Mkt seems a bit hardcore but some swear by it.
There's a new Crossfit place coming to BkK. But could be a way off like Hooters.
Pity the sidewalks are so crap otherwise jogging would be appealing. The river is free to swim in but don't see anyone doing it.
