Hi
Can anyone recommend a good Ortho? I think I have a pinched nerve in neck or back. I have numbness/pins and needles down my right arm. I have also lost about 30% strength in the right side of my upper body. I thought it started from sleeping wrong, but it usually goes away after a few days. This has lasted 6 weeks. I have tried switching beds/pillows and have had several proper massages to no avail. Any other recommendations for a specialist?
Maybe acupuncture?
Thanks

Phnom Penh Physiotherapy they have two clinics, Russian Market area and near Calmet. I can personally recommend Mark Chan at the later.
k440, something to do when you're pissed.
Thank you for the input Horace and SG.
I looked in to PP Physiotherapy, but the cost was a bit high...fifty dollar initial consult and subsequent visits at forty dollars. I ended up going to Chenda Clinic to see an Ortho. He seemed to think my case was mild, but if I was concerned and didn't want to wait to see if it cleared up, he could call and secure the Khmer rate for an MRI. I had the MRI at Sokheat Hospital (more of a imaging center really). The initial person who viewed the MRI seemed to think I had a mild narrowing of the cervical spine (neck...?). The Dr. at Chenda could not see it from viewing the MRI. Anyway...I was glad I had the MRI, if for nothing else but to rule out real problems. I am starting Physio at Chenda for twenty dollars a session. We will see how it goes.
Thanks again

Yeah, when you go to low cost Khmer doctors and clinics you end up never finding about what's wrong with you.bule gila wrote:

I went to Phnom Penh Physiotherapy but they didn't find out what was wrong with me, they just instead wanted me to have a second appointment the next day to do the exact same thing the physio did but with me wearing shorts (the problem was with my knee, and I was wearing pants). I wish they just had shorts I could borrow so that I didn't have to come back and pay $40 for a second appointment. I felt like my $50 for the first one was a waste. The physio didn't even recommend anything to relieve the pain. After I canceled my second appointment, they kept on contacting me to come back and have it checked again. And maybe it's just me, but I felt like they just wanted to stretch the check-up.gavinmac wrote:bule gila wrote:
