Dog meat in Siem Reap
I've always wanted to try dog meat; is there anywhere I can get it in Siem Reap? Also, any recommendations for places to get other types of meat that are hard/impossible to get in the US?

Head for Route 60, go past the Sokha resort, until the roundabout. On the right is a stall that sells dog meat in the evenings.

Don't wanna sound like a hypocrite cause ya meat is meat, but be prepared to see roasted dog with the heads fully attached with a final baring of the teeth.
It didn't make me feel very good about any forms of meat.
But eat or be eaten. Bon appetite.

Your friend's dog getting a bit old might fit the bill. Usually dogs do not make it until they die a natural death.violet wrote:Is there any source of dog meat here that treats them humanely before death?
Try the leg, it's nice with the large red ants. Then you can tick two boxes at the time.trainsandcups wrote:I've always wanted to try dog meat; is there anywhere I can get it in Siem Reap? Also, any recommendations for places to get other types of meat that are hard/impossible to get in the US?

The dogs being talked about are farmed for their meat. They're no ones pet.violet wrote:I grew up in a family where pets are off limits (pet sheep for example). I was responding purely to kachang's post and not at all considering any media comments when I wrote.YaTingPom wrote:The dogs being talked about are farmed for their meat. Surely stir-fryed puppy parts taste better when marinated in the tears of an 8 year old girl ??YaTingPom wrote:The dogs being talked about are farmed for their meat.
