Generally I thought that dental services here are decent and of course also quite affordable. I had a situation with a crown that was installed here at the International Dental Clinic. I believe I had the crown installed about three or four years ago. Then, about 1 year ago, it fell out. I went back to them and they said no big deal we will just glue it on again. I think they tried to claim that it was because I am grinding my teeth at night, or that the crown was bearing all the weight of my grinding. They tried to get me to get some kind of device to wear at
After they installed it again it seemed to me that the strength of my jaw was no longer pushing on the crown, but was now on different teeth in the front. Anyway, about 1 month ago, the crown fell out again. That makes it about 1 year since it was last glued in again.
Is this normal and I should go back again or is this a sign that my dentist has done something wrong? Would appreciate your input.
Dental- does this sound normal?
Never heard of this clinic - suggest to go to Roomchang or other for a second opinion.
Your clinic sounds like the typical Khmer nincompoop whose solution to the problem is always just to repeat the same level of retardation and hope for the best, or some ridiculous out of the box suggestion that isn't even related to the root cause of the problem.

As an aside to the Crown issue if you are grinding your teeth at night it would be right for them to suggest a night guard for you to wear.
Yeah it seem to me that a crown shouldn't be falling out regularly. One time I could let it pass, but two times one year apart? It seemed like they were covering up their own mistake.
Drwahwah, I'll have to pay closer attention to see whether I really am grinding at night...

Plenty of dentists with fake qualifications around Cambodia. You can find good service for low prices but you better check first.
If it keeps falling, the tooth below might be rotting, they probably have to redo a new crown and post. I'd probably go somewhere else though.
