I want to buy a roof
I want to buy a roof
Not for a house, for a plot of land that's about 30x30 and that we want to turn into a warehouse/garage. So I'm looking for a simple structure like a bubble, in one or several parts. We were quoted 15k but that sound like a lot. Does anybody know a manufacturer for that kind of project?
What are the measurements of the construction? If you want to build a 30 x 30 m open construction with a roof then 15k seems OK-ish.logos wrote:Not for a house, for a plot of land that's about 30x30 and that we want to turn into a warehouse/garage. if you have the skills you would oversee it and do it yourself I have yet to find a Cambodian who can produce a decent weld....it sounds a bit pricey to me but I have experience in building and only need labourers when I do any construction in the Kingdom. surely the materials would only cost 5000 , so it looks like they've got 10,000 for labour?

Are you building a warehouse or just a roof on sticks like Ricecakes' gazebo? What is a roof for a bubble?

One thing the Khmers can do is build cheap steel structures with columns and trusses and steel sheet. If they were taught to brace them effectively it would be good.A cheap structure still requires footings for the columns so there is a bit of work there. Probably 8k or so for steel and a few blokes for a couple of weeks to erect but you would want some sort of specification so you see what you are actually getting for the money. An engineer could sort it out for $500 or so I would guess. Money worth spending initially.
900m2 and $15K is a hell of an outlay just to archive logos' collection of gay dwarf-porn.
Trump is a genius!
Well I inherited Vlad's collection and I know you need shade and privacy when you come to browse it.maven wrote:900m2 and $15K is a hell of an outlay just to archive logos' collection of gay dwarf-porn.
It'll be a storage space for cars and motos, enclosure walls already built. We will probably go for several sun ports like this, still looking for options

FunnyFunny..when OP says he was looking for a bubble I thought "fuck..Gavinmac should just post a photo of where he lives"
And yes 15k for a 90m2 steel warehouse is cheap.but you pay for what you get so it'll be under spec'd as fuck.

the got these machines that bend aluminum. on site into the required shape can span vast widths without support so should be a cheap way to go judging by how many of these type of roofs are about >>
