Yeah around 150 for the whole of Cambodia. $340 a month in Phnom Penh apparently, although that would be the mean rather than the median
Really you would have to analyse sector by sector to get anything meaningful, anyway here's a start:
Average Salary in Phnom Penh, Cambodia
The average salary in Phnom Penh, Cambodia is of around 340 US dollars per month. Phnom Penh is the most expensive city in Cambodia and is also the city with the highest salaries. http://checkinprice.com/average-and-min ... -cambodia/
Average workers:
What is the average and minimum salary in Phnom Penh, Cambodia?
The minimum salary in Phnom Penh, Cambodia is currently at $ 153 US dollars per month. This minimum wage is set for those working in the garment industry and is valid for all country. While other sectors may not have an enforced minimum salary, this figures give a broad idea of minimum wages in the country as a whole. The information is provided by Cambodia’s government press website http://www.akp.gov.kh/?p=88245

Average civil servants:
Government Salaries to Rise, May Titthara / Khmer Times October 24 2016
Prime Minister Hun Sen, ministers, secretaries of state and 2,500 other civil servants and political figures will receive substantial pay rises after the Council of Ministers approved a draft of the 2017 Draft Law on Financial Management on Friday.
He said his own salary, now 3.6 million riel (about $900) a month, would almost treble to 10 million (about $2,500). Ministers will now receive 4.5 million riel ($1,115), secretaries of state 3.5 million (about $850), undersecretaries of state 2.8 million ($700) and some 2,500 assistants and advisers will receive an extra 80,000 riel ($20) a month.

Lowest level around $150, medium level around $250, higher management $5-600 in my place. Although I'm sure the owner and his wife pay themselves a hefty salary. Luxury imported American cars aren't cheap.

“Top guys” get $1300 a month? You seriously think a General Manager, let alone a CEO, would make what a TEFLer makes? There are a lot of Cambodians that make that much a week...vladimir wrote:I believe top guys only get paid $1300/month.

Exactly. I know of a few Khmers who make 1500$+, and they're not even at the top of the corporate chain. The days of locals making $80/month are long gone. Factory workers and even guys working on the salt flats make more than $150.
The $350 for Phnom Penh also sounds very skewed as it probably doesn't account for business owners/self employed people, who basically make up a huge percentage of income earners.

Sorry, this was based on my experience, and not in pp.

Yea, I’m ashamed to say that he actually had to PM me that. I’ll admit it went over my head at first.Lucky Lucan wrote:Miguelito wrote:“Top guys” get $1300 a month?
