Sound like plastic lenses, not glass.
Fine scratches on glasses lenses
Yes. Very rare to get glass lenses nowadays in any type of glasses or sunglasses.
Plastic are more mailable.

Unfortunately, plastic scratches more easily.
Glass is cheaper, but obviously heavier, so not optimal for bifocals/ stronger lenses (weight)

If anti glare means that the lenses are coated then I think my lenses are not coated. I tried to get anti glare lenses but they could not be supplied in my prescription. +4 If mine were coated then anti glare doesn't work for me. I don't know what +4 means but for me it means that 4 times the brightness of headlights dazzle gets focused onto my eyeball. At night I ride along Confed. Russie holding my hand up to my eyes only able to see a short distance in front of myself the dazzle of headlights is so intense.
google “scratches on prescription lenses”
I looked a a dozen web pages, either tooth paste, baking soda or Armour product which removes the outer coating which I dont have.
Without a motorized buff, just rubbing with a cloth you would still be rubbing come boxing day.
Looks like a new pair of lenses, present lenses only a year old at the end of this month, last set lasted 4 years. Price of lenses went up from $35 to $75 in those 4 years. Some inflation.

My eyes used to get very irritated by bright lights, when I changed my lenses it stopped. You may find that you have the wrong prescription. Even with computer-aided diagnosis, a lot still depends on your reaction when the optician asks you which lens is better...mistakes happen and people do end up with the wrong lenses. If bright lights annoy you, you probably need a stronger prescription or you may have a small cataract

+4 is your prescription (doubtful both eyes are +4 but possible) which means you’re long sighted.
My lenses are +5 and have anti glare and anti scratch. I suggest you get some lenses from a different optician.
Spend more money!
