Hi, I need a new pair of eyeglasses (they’re 4 years old) and maybe contacts, too.
I bought the 4 year old glasses I have in P.P., at a place near the Old Market. I paid $35, $4 for the frames, $31 for the rest. They were decent people, but I don’t know if they’re still open now.
Can anybody recommend a good place to get some new glasses here in P.P.? And current prices?
Thank You,
Savittre
p.s. What’s the difference between glass lenses and plastic ones? I would *assume* that glass lenses are better quality and cost more, OTOH, maybe plastic lenses in 2019 are as good as glass ones, less fragile, and cheaper?
Good Optical Shop in P.P.?
There are numerous optical shops in PP just pick the one with the best discounts, prices vary but most shops offer free testing and some offer a same day service.
I've been using Eyecare on corner Noradom and 136 for many years. Great service. I often pop in to have a pair of spectacles straightened out, fixed or whatever and they always do this for free.
