Hypertension is a frequent killer, seriously. Ask the founder of Khmer440. RIP.

I'll respond because I read the link you provided. It states:Ot Mean Loi wrote: ↑Fri Feb 14, 2020 4:44 pmIt's unfortunate that YTP has chosen to respond the way that he has when a more informed/reflective person would, in all probability, have responded in an entirely different way.
YTP - it is no accident that in better developed countries with well developed health systems and which conduct trials of ALL pharmaceutical products that can be registered and imported in to that country list ...Sildenafil (aka Viagra etc now that it is off patent)... as a Prescription Only pharmaceutical product and NOT as an OTC - Over The Counter pharmaceutical product, as is it's case in Cambodia and in some other lesser developed countries.
It is also a truism, as borne out on this and related forums, that many males coming to Cambodia at a later stage of life are, shall we say, not in the best of physical or medical condition. Indeed, many of them may be or should be taking a daily tablet for hypertension, and, quite probably, other daily medications as well. Then there is the matter of inactivity and regular and unwise levels of alcohol consumption, all of which are relevant to the matters raised in my posting. Other medication are frequently not compatible with the regular use of Sildenafil, Let alone a history of regular and, in medical terms, excessive consumption of alcohol. I suspect that there are many readers of this forum that may personally relate to these characteristics.
So, YTP, believe what you wish but the facts are contrary to your rubbishing of my posting. So be it. Have it your way if you wish.
And there is no fool like an old fool when it comes to love making, or attempting to make love , regardless of prior medical advice to the contrary.
But others may care to look at other facts just one of which is:

OML
"This medication can also cause a decrease in blood pressure, particularly one to two hours after taking it. If you already have low blood pressure, discuss the pros and cons of Viagra with your doctor."
I'd say that pretty much matches with what YTP said, as do countless other articles and studies. No need to worry about it if you don't already have low blood pressure, as he stated.
But it's cool that you attacked him not only in the beginning of your post, but also the end. Just next time make sure you're right with your argument.
From a medical point of view, taking Viagra should pose no problems, even for those who have low blood pressure. However, for a low subset of the population, it can pose a risk for patients who have angina pectoris and are also on organic nitrates. The coadministration of nitrates and Viagra significantly increase the risk of developing potentially life-threatening hypotension. So, OML is correct from a clinicians point of view by no prescribing Viagra to patients receiving any form of nitrate therapy.Miguelito wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2020 9:33 amI'll respond because I read the link you provided. YTP saying nonsense to OML and stating that men who have low blood pressure shouldnt be on prescribed ED drugs is nonsense.
You said nonsense twice then.
Are you saying my nonsense, although it’s actual fact (I googled it, much like you did. Unless you’re some fancy physician and studied medicine at that posh university place and stuff), is nonsense - meaning it has no medical evidence that anyone on the internet has anyone stated “That men with low blood pressure shouldn’t take ED drugs”, ever, and I was in fact just being argumentative and slightly beastly to your boyfriend OML?
My original shot at OML was his erroneous flippant comment that many expats die during sex because of viagra.
Like you said it’s a “low subset” of the population and an even lower one that happens to visit SE Asia to fuck whores.
A very small subset of the population die from DIY accidents.
“Is it easy to plumb in a toilet?”
“People who do DIY are at high risk of dying, it’s a fact”

pew, pew, pew, pew!
That's great you know how to use google - so I suggest that you use it then before trying to argue with a member of this forum and spouting incorrect facts! I am not getting involved in your little girly tiff with OML - just the statement you made that what he said being nonsense. Migs also wanted to get involved as he is also having a girly spat with OML. Time to get over it, life's too short!YaTingPom wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2020 11:25 amYou said nonsense twice then.

I am in the medical profession FYI
You stated it by “getting involved”, whatever that means. Dude, it’s an Internet forum. No one really takes anything serious apart from you. Lol.chubacca wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2020 11:54 am

You’re in the medical profession are you. Let me guess. You’re a rep for a pharma company or work next door ( at the girly bar) to a UCare?
It’s amusing when people brag on the internet. Post proof or STFU.
pew, pew, pew, pew!
Agressive cunt aren't you! I don't brag, I usuually have tried to help out over the years with questions that can be answered in a forum such as this. If someone is non-factual and attacking, then yes, I might get involved as in this case. You're the one who probably needs to chill as it seems you like to always get in the last word........ anyway, over and out, no more from me! I know PMT is a little difficult for some.......YaTingPom wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2020 12:46 pmYou stated it by “getting involved”, whatever that means. Dude, it’s an Internet forum. To sum up, then.
Many male expats are less than healthy, for reasons of age, lifestyle (lack of exercise and overdrinkin) and perhaps anxiety-related stress due to living in an unfamiliar country. This can cause cardiovascular disease.
MSG is no more harmful than salt. But salt, or rather sodium, can cause high blood pressure, which adds to cardiovascular problems.
Viagra is safe even for men with low blood pressure, but not for those who are on amyl nitrate medication, or something.
Hypotension (low blood pressure) and myocardial infarctus (heart attack due to cardiovascular disease) are frequent risks for male expats.
Feel free to correct anything.
