Yes and no, you got to remember that they have a lot of hills in Thailand and Vietnam which have a temperate climate.
It's best buying the seeds from Cambodia or species which grow well in tropical climates from Vietnam or Thailand. For example you will find lots of varieties of lettuce which will not grow in Cambodia but are sourced from Vietnam and Thailand.
Right..... I've been rooftopping and sourcing most of my seeds from Orussay for 7 years now. Have grown a lot of different things successfully. MY italian basil and a few other seeds are brought over by friends in Australia and New Zealand.
Best of luck..... 15-20 seed sellers at Orussay.

Not really gardening but has anybody ever tried to planned (real) orange trees , tangerine and other citrus fruit, with real juicy oranges and not the terrible dry fruit full of pips they grow here? We have a few ha of fertile land I'd like to experiment with.

It's too hot in Cambodia the temperature range for optimum growth from 15 to 30 Celsius, with humidity levels of 60 to 70%. They are classified as subtropical.
