How is it costing Kiwis money, do they pay for repatriation?Flightless wrote: ↑Fri May 07, 2021 2:06 pmThe latter is his worry. I said it aint gonna get any better, and looking over your shoulder can't be fun. Plus, hesitation of the inevitable is costing you (me). So, he's calling Kim. Let you know of anything noteworthy.PSD_Kiwi wrote: ↑Fri May 07, 2021 8:17 amKim maybe able to help with facilitating the payment and obtaining a new Visa, but unlikely she'll be able to help in reducing the overstay fine, but you never know unless you ask...
2. They will make you purchase an Exit Visa, giving you 7 days to leave the country.
Thanks for your help.
How to renew my visa during lockdown
pew, pew, pew, pew!
For a "normal" ER renewal, the DOI @airport wants to see:
- USD 180
- Proof of retirement (even for over 60).
- Housing contract.
- Retirement payment proof documents.
Processing time: 3 weeks.
Outside the "office door" several fixers (IE ordinary government staff/guards, wanting to give you a quick ride without documentation, of course for some green backs). Might be useful for serious overstays.

I have never had to provide any documents.
I have had a retirement extension since 2017.
I used Lucky moto 2 times, and World Express here in in SR the last 3 times. I gave all of them an extra $75usd for VIP treatment.
I always renew in August.
Never have had to prove I was retired.
I was 59 in 2017 and will turn 64 next month.
Not sure about other folks.

@guest above... if aged 55+ and applying via an agency then you are not required to provide supporting documentation for an ER EOS...except for the recent requirements of FPCS screenshot, passport sized pic and completed application form (most agencies will complete this on your behalf).
Supporting documentation only required if under 55, or applying directly at the DoI Visa office., for the much cheaper official fee...which is what V12 is referring to.

I'm not a negative person, I encourage people all the time...it's usually to f**k off! But, whatever.
Yep, though an agency, it'll cost some USD 100 more and no retire documentation required. Turn around time usually within a week. Kim is very helpful with all the paperwork she needs.
