What drinks are you downing tonight
I stumbled into a mini-mart yesterday that to my surprise had imported Guinness cans in the fridge! Is this common these days?
A little pricey at $3.90 a can, but hey.. That's still a couple of bucks cheaper than back in Scandinavistan!

...Always in my humble opinion...

That's a very strange-looking tray. Stout is very popular here and Guinness is well-known, but it's the foreign export 9% that most people know. If the draught became available it would go down a storm with locals and foreigners alike.doktor_d wrote:Guinness don't seem to mind plastic glasses..

I think your post above falls into the "subjective reality" category..

Yeah.. I'm surprised it's not more readily available in SEA. The cans I got a hold of seem to be meant for the European market. It's a 0.5L can, and all the writing on the side of it is in French, Dutch, Italian and Swiss(German).Lucky Lucan wrote:That's a very strange-looking tray. Guinness tried to get into the Vietnamese market a few times, (as did Newcastle Brown Ale) but they were not around for long.

As a result of Guinness popularity you do get some hipster types claiming it's a shit beer. You can't be hip while drinking a beer popular with the mortal masses.
It's a simple fact the beer is fantastic due to the delicious taste. When I leave Cambodia I map out places in advance to get my hands on a pint.
