Having lurked around this forum for the last couple of years and even going so far as to place the odd comment I have learned many things and derived some great entertainment. I think the best gift it has given me, however, was that of Capt. Bonez raising my awareness of Trailer Park Boys. Absolute comedy gold.
So, would just like to say thank you. Having spent the last 6 months or so working my way through all 7 series and getting to know the characters has given me huge joy. Last night I watched The Cart Boy. A short that was made before TPB which explores some ideas subsequently used in the series and featuring early incarnations of Bubbles, Ricky and Julian. Beautifully shot and pure pathos.
Once again Bonez thankyou for introducing me to this talented and sincere bunch of writers, actors and producers. My life is all the richer.
Whilst not a fan of emoticons I feel this post deserves a and of course a
Thankyou Bonez!

Trailer Park Boys is amusing but an acquired taste for us city slickers. It takes some re-education to get used to the broad comedy. But if you have lived in Cambodia, it's easy!!
also a movie called F.U.B.a.R. and the sequel

One of my favorite shows of all time. Had the chance to meet Randy and Lahey, in full character of course haha. Brilliant!
I love the ambivalence with which the show deals with 'anti social behaviour'. Illustrated beautifully by the clip above. So refreshing after the sensationalist attitude taken by most medias.
The only thing I've seen recently which comes close to this would be Paul Abbot's fabulous Shameless (UK) - I never saw Skins but guess it is of a similar atitude.
Which makes me wonder just how autobiographical TPB must be.
So many great little details. The drinking, the language, Corky.......Piss Jugs!? I could go on.
Genius!
