With the army, yes. And with Army related TV stations, newspapers who started to promote her as an alternate option to Franken-son a few decades ago. Clever political power play certainly.
Anyway it is not like the population can say otherwise and they have to try and find one they like to give some hope. Or they are just really wired to think like a bunch of moonies circa 1970's..
North Korea hasn't got shit on these people behind the scene when it comes to washing the minds of the masses.
I have got to say though that HM is a testament to the frantic desperation of the Thai medical establishment.
God only knows how they are keeping him going and God help them when Elvis leaves the building.

Yeh, this is turning out to be an utter disaster. Seems to have been an attempt to emulate Big T's cheap medical scheme, but the bird didn't think it through. Could bring the Reds down and let the Yellows in.

the financial loss might have been less if they had sold it asap...
a rice farmer might not turn to some other farmer over night, but investing the money into a change of farming, instead of subventions might have been a better idea...
