all nice places that are grey and miserable for half the year
Where would you live if you had to leave Cambodia?
Yeah, I can see that. I've enjoyed my short time visits there, but can't imagine living there.Alex wrote:Yes, seriously, not trying to wind you up here.cambod wrote:Seriously?Alex wrote:Kuala Lumpur
Countless short stays aside...
Cheap/numerous direct flights to almost everywhere would be a nice bonus too!
I have an old picture I took there where I managed to capture 5 or 6 Seven Eleven's all in one place. I guess that would be possible Bangkok too, LoL.
I hear the USA is a pretty wild country!raendi wrote:USA or Amsterdam.
You can legally smoke weed just for fun, bang prostitutes, gamble, buy alcohol 24/7, buy all sorts of guns at the supermarket/yard sales, and Elvis Presley will help dudes marry dudes and girls marry girls!
All this 100% legal!
And if you don't have enough money to do all these exciting things, rob a house! Even if you get caught you can sue them for big money because you cut yourself while jumping over their fence, picking their lock, etc...!
So this is how Cambod funded his overseas lifestyle.cambod wrote:I hear the USA is a pretty wild country!raendi wrote:USA or Amsterdam.

I refuse to go out with nothing more than a whimper followed by a small farting sound and a shit stain on my bed sheets..
Just thought I'd share that with you.

Port Moresby or Asunción, or Gaborone ( back to Bechuanaland again.)
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

wouldn't it all depend on how much $$$ u had?
If i had an income of over $5,000./month, i would live back in San Francisco and travel
$1,500,000-5,000 Thailand
Less than that , in my brothers back yard in Maine or possibly Penang, Just back from there and for many things ( food, transport, clothes accommodations-fan rooms for less than 25 MYR) cheaper than Cambodia or Thailand
but fuck, drinking is expensive

I couldn't live in the Philippines. That bloody accent would drive me mad.
Rated R for Ricecakes
On the bright side, at least they know enough English to have an accent. Beats not speaking any English, in my book!ricecakes wrote:I couldn't live in the Philippines. That bloody accent would drive me mad.
Interesting opinions, for me maybe Uganda, Moulemein,Uruguay, or Florida.
