Greece is so in bankruptcy, that i wouldn't put myself and money there.
All eastern europe sucks, it's good to visit as holiday but living...
South France would be nice, but they don't speak english.
Canary Islands can also be the place, but they're quite far away (1000km to Spain Europe).

Are you aware of the mega, mega tsunami that is supposed to happen when a big chunk of La Palma falls into the sea?

I'm going to study the dark arts of capitalism in Paris this fall, leaving Cambodia for good. Don't quite know what to make of it. I somehow always imagined my life would revolve around Cambodia in some way or another, but I now think I won't be coming back in a long, long time. Perhaps, if it's not too fucked up by then, I'll come back and wait for death on the southern coast in 50 or 60 years, sipping on cheap beer and cheap women. That would be my worst case scenario. There are plenty of more beautiful and interesting places than Cambodia, but none as "magnetic", if that makes sense. My two riels.
Yeah, especially Amsterdam, quite a lot of liquidations, latelyBosco wrote:Yes but there are benefits!Khmeria wrote:Bosco wrote:Paris, Amsterdam, Munich would do me, especially Paris.
all nice places that are grey and miserable for half the year
Moscow, lively atmosphere now-adays, like central London/Soho, though more with an "everything is possible" glance in the eye, in stead of the London straitjacket.
Otherwise Laos/Birma, though my first time there will be in future.
Antarctica ?

Ha ha, this is a list of the most unlikely countries that most 440 members could get a visa for, let alone settle
Nope. The first 4 are associated to the EU and there's no visa requirements for EU nationals. Affordability is the issue here for the average 440er.

The average 440er. Not being derogatory but it feels like we are down to ten. With you and Migs, the average is skewed higher
The mind is not a vessel to be filled, but a fire to be kindled.
