What's the queen got to do with it? Aussie politics is very confusing.1894 wrote:Abbots in ! A day of National Celebration! God save the Queen!

what im worried about is katter party and PUP... if they get a few seats it may be another minority government but unsure who they will side with i would assume PUP would side with LNP
PUP WILL not win a seat tomorrow neither will there be a hung Parliament. Abbot will be in with a big majority. The Independents could retain 2 seats at max.
Great day for Australia tomorrow!
Looks like you is wrong.
Greens have retained Melbourne.
Clive Palmer looks to have won his electorate, also Mal Brough's electorate could fall to the Palmer party. They also looks like they will get a senate seat in QLD.
The swing to Labor is not as large as I expected in many seats but overall it is indeed a landslide. You could be close with your call of 95 seats, do far the Coalition are at 85.
My wife (from SHV) voted for the first time today, she was more interested in the photo op for facebook than in who she voted for, voting for whom I suggested, I had to take many shots of her at the booth until she was happy with the right one. She did however feel proud!

Well goodbye NGOs that receive AusAid. I thought the discussion would lean towards that!

Who gives a fuck? Why isn't this in the "Not Cambodia" section?
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
Well said and with such a nice turn of phrase!Lucky Lucan wrote:Who gives a fuck?
Voting for liberal or labor is supporting Australia's worst domestic enemies, and I stay away from giving support to traitors
They are both aggressively destroying whatever good things were left about the country, any semblance of freedom, property rights and a fair justice system. I'm pretty disgusted at the country as a whole at this moment, as if being ignorant of these things, like being ignorant that your child is being molested, somehow makes it alright.
Strong words but as the Romans used to say, a country does not last long when the enemies are within the gates
